Jordan Jarrett, Ph.D, P.E. (she/her) is a Teaching Assistant Professor in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at Colorado State University (CSU), where she teaches classes on mechanics fundamentals and structural design. Prior to joining CSU, she worked as a structural engineering consultant for 7 years in Seattle, WA. She is currently on the Board of Directors for the Structural Engineers Association of Colorado (SEAC), and she serves on multiple committees each for SEAC, NCSEA, AISC, and ASCE. She is passionate about making engineering education and the structural engineering industry more innovative and inclusive, which is a major focus of her pedagogy and her professional involvements.
