Alexander D. Stephani is a Consulting Engineer at Simpson Gumpertz & Heger Inc. (SGH) and is a licensed PE in New York State. He is heavily involved in new design, investigation, and rehabilitation projects involving concrete, steel, and wood structures. He also performs specialized work related to the structural support of precast façade systems. Alexander earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering and M.S. in Structural and Earthquake Engineering at the University at Buffalo. He is an active member of the Structural Engineers Association of New York Structural Engineering Emergency Response Committee.
